Applications are open for library workers to attend a 2-day Institute on civic data, hosted at the School of Computing and Information!
Through the support of the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), we are pleased to be hosting six regional and one online Civic Switchboard Institutes in 2024. Pittsburgh will be the first location of the Institute and hosted on April 18-19, 2024.
The Civic Switchboard Institute in Pittsburgh will bring together 20 library workers interested in serving as intermediaries between community members and civic data and developing civic data roles for their libraries.
We are inviting library workers -- including our alums -- to apply to the Pittsburgh-based Civic Switchboard Institute by February 16.
