Jacob Biehl
- Associate Professor
Dr. Jacob Biehl joined the School of Computing and Information in the fall of 2019. Before SCI, he was a principal research scientist at FX Palo Alto Laboratory in Silicon Valley. He holds a PhD (2008) and MS (2004) in Computer Science and a BS (2002) in Statistics and Computer Science, all from the University of Illinois (Urbana).
Jacob’s research interests are at the intersection of systems and human computer interaction (HCI). Most recently, his work has centered on designing, deploying, and evaluating IoT technologies that address important issues in workflow and work practice.
