Bea Saba (MLIS ’98) Receives 2023 Texas Library Association Outstanding Services to Libraries Award

Please join us in congratulating Bea Saba (MLIS ’98) on receiving the 2023 Texas Library Association Outstanding Services to Libraries Award.

The Texas Library Association Outstanding Services to Libraries Award recognizes individuals who demonstrate outstanding advocacy and support for libraries. The award acknowledges “advancement of library services, development and promotion of sound library policies and standards, successful advocacy to the community, significant contribution to the promotion of library legislation, and active participation in TLA.”

Saba, currently the library system director of the Bryan + College Station Public Library System, was honored by Bryan’s City Council during a council meeting for her accomplishment (pictured below).
