Building Connections for the Future
Research, academic, and professional conferences can be transformative opportunities for SCI undergraduate students, enabling them to present their work, network with experts, and gain exposure to the latest developments in their fields beyond their classroom experiences.
Visibility and Voices Beyond the Classroom
Conferences provide students with unmatched opportunities to present their work, build professional networks, and discover what’s next in their fields.
Elevating Student Potential on National Stages
By providing paid opportunities for travel and attendance fees, we make next-level networking accessible so promising SCI students from all backgrounds can engage fully in these enriching experiences. Conferences include the Grace Hopper Conference, AfroTech, the iConference, the Tapia Conference, and others hosted by the IEEE, American Library Association, National Center for Women and Information Technology, and more.
Funding Needs
To expand access and increase our impact, SCI is seeking:
- $2,000 to support one student
- $50,000 as an endowed gift to support one student in perpetuity
Your investment will directly enable more students to gain critical computing skills, regardless of their background or field of study.
