“I had absolutely no clue what I was doing,” Mohsin said. “I remember I just entered my name, entered my major, got my nametag, and walked in with a handful of copies of my resume, just like everyone else.”

The project uses photos taken by Teenie Harris, a famed photographer known for his vibrant portraits of life in Pittsburgh’s African American communities during the 1950s and 1960s.
