Dr. Daniel Mossé will serve as Associate Dean for Professional Graduate Programs effective January 1, 2022. He will play a vital role in helping develop the vision for and implementation of new professional Master's and other credit-bearing graduate programs as they are created and managed within SCI and in partnership with other schools. For the past three decades, Mossé has been a professor and formerly served as Department Chair of Computer Science. His wide network at Pitt will help provide guidance, leadership and support where and when it is needed to the SCI, University, and broader communities.
The Professional Graduate Program Initiative (PGPI) was created in Spring 2021 and began in Fall 2021 to explore how to offer high-quality graduate and professional education in ways that meet student and workforce needs and how to enhance inclusion and equity to foster diverse environments.
