Hosted by SCI and its student organizations annually since 2018, SCI Week is a full week of professional development programming designed to prepare students at all academic levels for their futures. Programming includes a variety of activities from resume reviews, mock interviews, panel events, networking receptions, coding challenges, soft skill workshops, executive round tables, corporate information sessions, a career fair focused on computing and information majors and more! During this week students will have an opportunity to build their professional network, meet some of our most successful alumni, learn directly from industry professionals, meet corporate recruiters and C-suite level executives!

Calling all SCI first years! Are you excited for your college journey? Start things on a high note, and join MAC-athon, SCI's only hackathon specifically for first-year students! All first year Pitt students are welcome, no coding experience is needed, so feel free to invite friends in and out of SCI. Registration required.

Learn the basics of Capture the Flag (CTF) competitions, how they work, and what to expect when participating with feedback from a cybersecurity specialist at BNY and the Software Engineering Institute (SEI). This event will introduce common CTF challenges, cybersecurity concepts, and tips for getting started.

Wabtec Corporation is excited to connect with Pitt students and share insights on career development after graduation. You are a Data Quality Analyst preparing a financial report for senior leadership. The data contains errors and inconsistencies, and the report could be off by more than $10,000.
