Currently, Brian is a Teaching Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh, Department of Computer Science where he received both his PhD and BS in Computer Science. His primary research background lies in data postdiction, data reduction, and database management systems. As an educator, Brian is committed to building courses where students feel comfortable communicating and participating, and where they gain the skills to become lifelong learners. He has received the Taulbee Award for Excellence in Computer Science twice (April 2022 and December 2023).
