Dr. James Joshi, professor with the Department of Informatics and Networked Systems, has been elevated to an Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Computer Society Fellow effective January 1, 2023. Through elevation to IEEE Fellow, IEEE is recognizing Joshi “for contribution to access control and privacy” research. He has made significant contributions to the field of Cybersecurity and Privacy, in particular, through his impactful work in the area of access control models and methodologies.
