Resume Reviews and Mock Telephone Interviews: Many of our alumni volunteer to review current students’ professional resumes and to conduct practice telephone interviews—all to help prepare students for a very competitive job market.  We thank all of these amazing alumni who are graciously volunteering their time and talents to benefit students as they enter the job market. 

School of Computing and Information Job Board: Did you know the School has its own job board? This job board houses many opportunities specifically geared toward our graduates. With opportunities ranging from full-time jobs to internships and librarian positions to software engineers, our job board is a great resource for you. 

University Resources

The Office of Career Development and Placement Assistance is here to help you find the perfect job when you graduate. At the CDPA, experts will help you with career planning, creating effective resumes or portfolios, and effective interviewing techniques. Emily Bennett is the Science and Technology Career Consultant. 

Pitt’s Career Network provides our students with an opportunity to interact with people who have experience in the many professions that are associated with the information and computing fields. This is a network of alumni who want to help you to improve your career prospects. 

Pitt’s Handshake, is an online database of job postings exclusive to Pitt students and alumni. Through Handshake you can view job listings, internships, career fairs, and much more.
